My name is Karen, and I'm here to ask for help for one of my dearest friends Renee. Shortly before Christmas Renee discovered a spot in her mouth. For 2 weeks she kept it to herself until she was evaluated and had the correct information to share with her family. In January she went down to S. Cal, she has had 5 MRI's, CT Scans, Petscans and lots of lab work and finally surgery to remove what cancer they could see. Mouth cancer is a very aggressive type of cancer (SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA) it's a very difficult cancer to defeat. Since having surgery, Renee and her Tumor board have discussed her options going forward. At this time she has accrued multiple medical bills, which will be an ongoing battle for Renee. Renee has treated multiple illnesses and diseases after almost dying in 2010, she has put up a good fight, and with this new battle ahead of her, she needs additional strength and support from her friends and family. She will have the opportunity to see the name of each person that donates, and feel the love and support from every single one. Any amount will be appreciated more than words can express.
