Let's help Sue & Abby through this

“You don’t have to, you get to.”
My dear friend, Sue, and her daughter Abby, need our support. Sue has been my rock, my go-to when I need a shoulder to lean on, for nearly 30 years.
Abby recently made a temporary move to the Twin Cities in order to take advanced classes for her career as an esthetician. She found a job in her field, a roommate to share the rent, and started school. While home in Duluth over Christmas, she took a bad fall on the ice. She underwent emergency surgery on her ankle and is restricted to no weight bearing for the next several weeks.
The good news is that Abby's employer is holding her job for her and the collage has made accommodations so Abby can continue attending classes. However, she requires in-home health care assistance and extensive physical therapy. Her insurance is inadequate and she currently has no income.
Sue works fulltime as an LPN in addition to attending collage fulltime to complete her RN degree. We look forward to celebrating her graduation this spring. Sue has taken on additional shifts at work in order to make ends meet and will continue to do so. But as we know, medical costs are astronomical.
No matter the amount your help will make a difference. All contributions will be made directly to Sue and used to cover Abby’s medical expenses.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
