Hi, my name is Stephanie McMahon.

On September 18th my 35 year brother, Steven Wilson, experienced a very severe vertebrobasilar stroke. He was immediately transported by ambulance to a local hospital, and then by life flight to the neurology ICU in Murray, UT for around the clock care. Steven was intubated for two days after the stroke and has been on a feeding tube for multiple days. He has been experiencing double vision, vertigo, slurred speech, loss of coordination, facial weakness and trouble swallowing. He has been surrounded by many people that love him and he is keeping his spirits high. Although he is improving every day, with the help of a speech and physical therapist, he will remain in the Murray IHC until they feel comfortable transporting him to an inpatient rehabilitation facility, for no less than a month, where he will continue to strengthen the part of the brain that was damaged. Steven has two kids, Olivia who is 8 years old and Owen who will celebrate his 5th birthday on the 28th. He has a mortgage and now will have an overwhelming amount of medical bills. Steven is strong, he will get better but it will take time, support and lots of prayers. While he is taking his strides let’s take some too.
