On behalf of Sterling Ryan Murphy’s family this Gofund me to offset any burial costs and expenses and to lay him to rest properly. He was a friend, a coach, mentor, battle buddy, a scout, a ranger, a gunner, brother to all, an uncle to any kid that was in need a strong man in their life and mostly a son and family man to all.

Sterling Ryan Murphy, 33, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at his home unexpectedly.

He is survived by his siblings, Steven R. Murphy II (Jessica), Samuel R. Murphy, Charlene Gibson, and Candace Murphy; mother Lisa A. Gibson and stepfather Chuck Gibson; maternal grandmother Linda “Granna” Kuykendall; aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sterling was a very kind, loving and generous man and most of all a great friend and brother. He will be missed by many.

Unfortunately his sudden death leaves his Mother and family with the unexpected cost of putting him to rest. If you are at all able to help the family at all with this unforeseen cost, any amount helps during this difficult time.
