Hey everyone, our good friend and coworker, Stefan Maduro, was involved in an accident that resulted in a severe injury to his ankle involving multiple fractures. He’s an absolutely awesome person and is trying to stay as positive as possible. He is a very hardworking and passionate cook with one of the biggest hearts I’ve met in this community of cooks in Portland, Oregon.

Although, the reality is that we’re looking at a huge financial burden down the road. He’ll be out of work for a while and insurance isn’t covering nearly enough. To make this something that we can figure out together, I’m asking that we can come around to help our good friend out and let him know the community has his back. It’s going to be an intensive surgery and about 6 weeks of recovery. We’re trying to cover costs that insurance will not provide and lost time at work. Thank you for any help you are able to provide. Stefan is such an awesome dude and I know it means the world to him for anyone to be able to contribute.
