UPDATE:Thank you to everyone who has supported my dad’s fight against cancer so far. Your kindness, donations, and prayers mean more than words can say.

Back in October, the first oncologist told us there was nothing more he could do for my dad. We refused to give up and sought a second opinion. The new oncologist has given us hope with a treatment plan, but it requires more frequent care and additional medications.

Some of these medications are not fully covered by insurance, and the increased treatment schedule has significantly raised our medical costs.

Because of this, we are continuing to ask for help to keep up with his treatment and give him the best possible chance.

Help Staszek beat cancer!

I’m writing to you asking for help for Stanislaw Dyka, who was recently diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 colon cancer.

Cancer is a major challenge for him once again. In January 2017, Staszek underwent surgery to remove stage 4 melanoma, and in September 2020, he suffered a stroke. He recovered in both cases. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy before surgery to remove the tumor. His health: a colostomy and urostomy, and the nature of his job before illness (a construction worker) prevent him from working.

Let’s help Staszek pay for his treatments and surgery, therapies, supplements, and ostomy accessories which are not reimbursed.

We need your help to raise approximately $8,000.00 for his ongoing medical needs, including testing costs and specialist visits.

Nowotwór to dla niego kolejne poważne wyzwanie. W styczniu 2017 roku Staszek przeszedł operację usunięcia czerniaka w 4tego stopnia, a we wrześniu 2020 roku doznał udaru mózgu. W obu przypadkach udało mu się wrócić do zdrowia.

Obecnie przechodzi chemioterapię przed operacją usunięcia guza. Jego stan zdrowia — kolostomia i urostomia, a także charakter pracy, którą wykonywał przed chorobą (pracownik budowlany) — uniemożliwiają mu obecnie podjęcie pracy zarobkowej.

Pomóżmy Staszkowi pokryć koszty leczenia, operacji, terapii, suplementów oraz akcesoriów stomijnych, które nie są refundowane.
