Let's help St. Peter's Church and Haven rebuild
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, home to St. Peter’s Haven, a nonsectarian 501 (c )(3) nonprofit established in 1986 to serve the hungry and homeless, suffered severe water damage from Hurricane Ida. Five feet of water collapsed a steel-framed door, destroying the sub-basement and lower level of the extended facility where professional offices, a conference room, workrooms, storage space, equipment, and supplies were located. Donating on this page will help us to rebuild the sub-basement and lower level so that St. Peter’s Haven, the only food pantry in Clifton, NJ serving all residents in need, can get back on track, helping the most vulnerable, also impacted by the hurricane. Currently, the food pantry serves up to 1,600 individuals each month, although plans are already in the works to double the number of individuals served.
