Let's Help Shaylee

On January 21st Shaylee went into the ER with a high fever and intense abdominal pain. She had thought her Fevers and symptoms were just another phase/symptoms as she tested positive for Covid-19 just 2 weeks before. She was admitted to the hospital due to a dangerously high white blood count due to a very infected large cyst on her left ovary that started to rupture causing bleeding in her pelvis. On January 23rd Shaylee went into an emergency surgery to remove the cyst/ get the blood and infection out of her pelvis. Shaylee was released January 24th and went home however due to continued high fevers, continued high white blood count and a lot of pain/pressure on her left side Shaylee was re admitted to the hospital on February 2nd. Shaylee had another surgery on February 6th because infection/blood had built back up in the left side. Since the 2 surgeries Shaylee has had to go back into the ER 4 times and multiple doc apts. The infection/fluid built up again on the left side now she also has new cysts on her left and right ovaries. Right now, we are in a waiting phase Shaylee has been put into “temporary menopause” to give her body/ovaries a rest. Shaylee’s body needs more rest before more extensive testing but has an apt set for March 17th for more answers and to make a plan. Shaylee still has high fevers and they’re managing her pain/infections while they’re in the waiting process.

Shaylee hasn’t been able to work since January 12th as she’s had Covid and then surgeries and fighting this infection.

Her medical bills are piling up, and since she has been unable to work so are her bills.
