For those that don't know Shawn McPeters, he is an amazing person who has ALWAYS put others first throughout his life. Unfortunately, Shawn is now in need of some help from family, friends, and anyone else whose life has been impacted by cancer. Shawn was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (carcinoid tumors) this past July. He has already been through one successful (yet grueling) surgery; he has more to go along with endless testing and overpriced monthly medications. Shawn has met this challenge, like everything else in his life, with optimism and humor. We don’t know what the road ahead looks like, but we want to do what we can to help reduce the countless stresses that come along with fighting cancer. He would never ask for help himself, so we are doing it for him.
