Supporting Ali, Lily and baby in memory of Sean

Donation protected

With the heaviest of hearts, we share that our beautiful friend Sean has sadly passed away.
This GoFundMe was originally created to support Sean in his fight against cancer, and we are deeply grateful for the incredible love, kindness, and generosity shown so far.
Now, this fund has become a way for us to honour Sean and continue supporting the people he loved most, his partner Ali, their daughter Lily, and their baby boy who is due in just a few months.
The funds raised will help Ali provide for her children and give them the life Sean would have wanted for them if he were here. It will help ease the financial burden during this unimaginably difficult time, allowing Ali to focus on healing, grieving, and being there for Lily as they prepare to welcome their new baby.
Every donation, share, message, and gesture of support means more than words can express. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing beside this incredible family and for helping keep Sean’s love and legacy alive through his children.

Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate the life of our beloved Sean.
Torquay Surf Lifesaving Club.
Monday 19th January
Arrive from 2pm, with formalities starting at 3pm.

If you wish, please consider bringing a single bloom from your garden to place in the vases on the tribute table. Kindly no purchased flowers or bouquets.

Please note that parking at the venue is very limited, particularly on beach-friendly days. If you're able, please consider parking further away and enjoying a 10 minute walk in.

Dress in relaxed coastal or summer smart casual - Sean would want you to be comfortable. Black suits and formal wear are not required, and colour is welcome.

Please click on the link to register if you are coming for catering purposes.

Sean wished for his ashes to be scattered via paddle out at Coalcliff, NSW, as well as at Smiggin Holes, NSW.

The Coalcliff paddle out will take place on 13 February, followed by a relaxed celebration of life with live music, dancing and time together. Further details will be shared closer to the date.

Please feel free to attend both gatherings if you are able, and know there is no expectation to do so — we completely understand if you attend just one.

The scattering of ashes at Smiggin Holes will take place later in winter, with details to follow.

A private cremation will be held prior to the memorial service.
