Help Ryan Zak get his dream piano!

Hello friends!

So, here's the story, in point-form:

• Ryan Zak makes beautiful, healing music
• He was borrowing a Very Nice piano (not the one pictured, but an upright Yamaha) from the piano shop he was working at
• He fell in love with it, saying it's a rare find that has the perfect soft sound he has been looking for.
• Now he is being asked to return it, unless he can buy it.

Difficulties:

• Being a Very Nice piano, it costs more than a bit of money.
• Ryan lives humbly, focusing his energy on creating things of beauty (both musically and visually!) and caring for his health. He doesn't charge money for his recorded music, instead choosing to give it to the world as a gift, which it is indeed! However, this also means that he doesn't have piles of money sitting around to draw from.

My proposal:

• Help Ryan cover the costs of his Very Nice piano
• Feel good about supporting someone who brings more light, joy and softness into the world
• Give back financial appreciation to what he has given us for free
• Benefit by eventually hearing the music that he composes on his Very Nice piano!

     
Ryan was planning on trading in his old piano—which I have been babysitting for 3 years and have become quite fond of—to the piano shop to help him cover the costs, but I would be sad to see the piano go, so I will be giving a good chunk of $ to Ryan as well so I can keep the piano here and call it mine.  2k is a bit much for me too, otherwise I'd just buy him the piano, so this is another reason why I am asking for help via this fundraiser.  All money raised here will go to Ryan.
