Let’s help Ryan fight off Testicular Cancer

Donation protected
On April 7th, Ryan was having pain in the lower right side of his body and went to the hospital. He was misdiagnosed and not properly treated or tested at a hospital in Broward. He was given a prescription for an infection without the hospital doing any blood work. A couple weeks later went to a different doctor and was again misdiagnosed and given a different antibiotic for an infection. Now fast forward to May 9th he went to a different hospital in Broward to get checked in the same area but now in 10x the pain and barely able to walk. The Drs took him back and quickly realized he had a tumor that needed to be removed immediately turning out to be testicular cancer.

He found a Urologist to remove the tumor the next week. He had a very difficult time before/after surgery and wasn’t able to work before and after for a few months due to the amount of pain. His surgeon felt like that got all the cancer and he was getting better and seemed to be on the right path being his positive self and started exercising lightly again. But the cancer has come back in his lower abdomen and is now needing chemotherapy.

Chemo will start this month and run through the end of the year. And through everything and all of the news he still has that smart ass sense of humor to keep Cat and the boys laughing and entertaining them everyday. We are praying everyday for constant positive results.

Ry says this has already been a life changing experience that he will never forget. He’s ready for 2024 to be here to start fresh and get back to the life he’s meant to live. He also wants to make sure to remind everyone to get checked, without the pain he probably wouldn’t have gotten a check up and wants to remind all the guys to get those check ups and do self exams regularly. He was lucky to have the signs of pain because most patients don’t and it will silently get worse without proper care and treatment. We’re setting up this fundraiser to help cover expenses with their bills, surgery, chemotherapy and fertility clinic costs that insurance won’t cover, and without him being at work.

Thank you all for the support and we’re also ready for this to be behind him and for him to have a fresh start in 2024!!! Keep the prayers coming!!
