If you know my sister Ronalee, you know what a hard working, healthy, vibrant, independent, active Mom and wife that she was. She is a certified Journeyman Landscape Gardener who owned and operated her own landscape company until... she was injured during what was supposed to be a ‘routine surgery’. It has been over 3 years since that day that all of that was taken away from her. She currently relies on walking aids to get around and is on disability.
Ronalee has been diagnosed with a torn hip labrum and (IFI)- Ischiofemoral impingement. She will require hip surgery to fix this. We have found a surgeon in Vancouver and her operation is scheduled on November 23rd in a private facility. Unfortunately, it is expensive. On top of this she will have travel expenses plus medical expenses afterwards such as physiotherapy with hip specialists.
The Jones family has been through enough, they are not the type of people to ask for or to expect any help, but we all know that in addition to this stressful situation comes the financial burden as well. We are looking to raise enough funds to help this family to finally receive the treatments that she needs that will be required to get her through to the other side - which is hopefully back!!!! Through Ronalee's positive attitude, courage, patience and determination, she has fought extremely hard to get to this point. Let's all band together to help her get past this and back to walking and sitting without pain again.
