Rodrigo is six years old.

He was diagnosed with cancer and acute lymphoblastic leukemia on December 17th, 2021. He’s always been an energetic, social, funny, and healthy kid. It was shocking and the kind of news that no parent wants to ever get from a doctor. The first week at the hospital was rough since a lot started happening right away, he had no idea what all this crazy stuff was, but it didn’t take him long until he began to realize and be so brave about everything. Every procedure, every chemo, he takes it like a champion. Every time we go to the hospital, he loves coming home to his 3 yr old brother and 7-month-old sister. His treatment will be for 2 1/2 years, chemo/medicines and we hope and ask for prayers that it never comes back again. He can’t wait for months to pass by to go back to school and see his friends again.
