My husband Robert is the love of my life and my best friend we have been together and thick as thieves since we were 15 years old.. we now are 34 and have an amazing 15 year old daughter. On July 18th 2020 Robert was diagnosed with Cancer and it was completely unexpected. We went to the hospital because he was in alot of abdominal pain and after they ran some test they ended up finding out he had Testicular cancer that had spread into his abdominal area as well as his kidneys. He was in the hospital for a couple weeks to have several surgeries as well as start chemo asap because the cancer was around his kidney and his kidneys were failing. Thank God we have gotten through this  so far  He finished his first cycle of chemo the day before Christmas eve.  The doctors were very hopeful and positive the chemo would take care of his cancer but on his last scan they found the cancer is not completely gone and he is going to have to keep fighting this cancer. Over the last 6 months we have occurred a ton of medical bills, and it has just been so stressful and I am working as much as I can but Robert is still unable to work, he has had some bad side effects from the chemo it affected his heart, he has a blood clot in his lung and  now has bad neuropathy where he cannot even feel his hands and feet some days. The doctors are saying they do not know when he will be able to return to work. And on the 1st of the year we lost insurance coverage because the company he was working for closed due to covid and they had to lay off Robert on the 1st of the year so we lost the insurance  now and Robert still has treatments and doctors appointments , medication to fill and so much more still to come. I am trying to raise some funds to help pay for his 400$ a month prescriptions and all of the medical bills we have occurred from the last 6 months as well as the future cost of insurance. We have tried so hard to do this on our own and hate to ask for any help. I am not even planning on telling Robert I am doing this. Robert is a stubborn man and I love him so much for that, but I cannot loose him to this cancer and want him to keep getting the best care possible. Robert is an amazing husband and father our daughter is most definitely a daddys girl. They do everything together and this has been so hard on her especially with this also being her first year of high school too.
