Let's Help Rick Cook

Our good friend Rick Cook realized his goal of representing Canada by being one of the 12 CSIA members selected to go to Levi, Finland for Interski, 2023.

Rick was in Lake Louise recently to train with the Interski Team when he had a serious skiing accident, the result being no skiing for him this season, including the Interski demonstrations.

We can imagine Rick's disappointment.

As a full-time ski pro/coach Rick works doing staff development and courses for the CSIA and ACA.

Unfortunately, Rick will not be on snow this year; this will have a significant impact on his income. As well, Rick has had--and will have--significant costs related to his accident and his recovery.

Rick will miss skiing for his country at Interski, and we, the ski community, will miss his enthusiastic leadership this winter.

Here's hoping Rick's many friends and supporters can contribute to his recovery and ease the burden on him and partner, Jana.
