Let's help relieve some stress for Gerard & family

Hi, this is Joshua & Wynona Benson. We are the uncle and aunt of Gerard, brother and sister of Katherine and Aki, and we would love for you to help!

Background:

If you are reading this, most of you probably already know our 5-year-old little nephew Gerard got diagnosed with a VERY rare bone cancer called Osteosarcoma.

We organized this GoFundMe page with the goal to help relieve some stress. Hopefully both financially and mentally.

What's happening?

Gerard will need roughly about 7-8 months of initial chemo treatment, along with a surgery to amputate his foot, where he will also need a prosthetic foot or leg depending on the situation. He will also need to undergo a long physical therapy treatment after, as well as the long list of life-long changes that come with it.

What's the ask?

Gerard started his chemo treatment this week. Their insurance has a high deductible and out-of-pocket (OOP). And together, we believe we can help with their medical bill, and if enough people are donating, perhaps we can also help relieve some mental stress to help with their meals, medicines, and everything else.

All donations will go to Katherine, Aki, Gerard and their family.
