Let’s Help Pete Get Back on His Feet after Storm Darrah!

Dear Community,

Pete has always been more than a name in our photography, surf, and music circles—he’s a legend, a friend, and a mentor to so many of us. Over the years, he’s poured his heart into our water sports community, inspiring countless people with his passion and knowledge.

Now, Pete needs our help.

After battling through heart surgery, COVID, prostate cancer, and a broken back, Pete’s resilience has been nothing short of extraordinary. But Storm Darrah delivered a devastating blow that no one could prepare for—tearing off his roof, leaving him homeless, and destroying most of his belongings rigth before Christmas.

Pete has lost so much: clothes, bedding, essential electrical appliances, and even his backup camera—a vital tool for his work and passion. With your support, we can:

-Replace his essentials to restore comfort and stability.

-Help him get a new camera so he can reconnect with his art and livelihood.

-Cover repair costs for electricians, gas engineers, and eventually remove the wreckage of what was once his home.

To show his gratitude, Pete would like to offer either a surf lesson or a photo shoot for pets/special occasions etc for donations of £50 or more once he is back on his feet. This is not written as an incentive. it’s his way of giving back. Every contribution matters—whether it’s donating, sharing, or offering time and skills to assist with the cleanup.
