Peggy is one of my best friends. I have know her for 23 years, since I started a long-lasting forever friendship with her daughter, Jen. Over the years, we have shared countless amazing memories, laughter, fun, and even some tears. She is truly beautiful, inside and out, and with such a genuine heart. Peggy has always been the most caring, loving, kind, giving person to everyone who crosses her path.  She would literally give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need.

Peggy has recently been diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, which has traveled to her brain and lung. And, since October 2020, Peggy has had multiple hospitalizations, a fall resulting in pelvic fractures followed by a skilled nursing facility stay, gamma knife radiation therapy to treat the tumor, a kyphoplasty for 3 fractured vertebrae, currently has multiple rib fractures, and is currently back in the hospital fighting pneumonia-like symptoms, requiring supplemental oxygen. Peggy is literally fighting for her health each and every day.

Medical bills are going to be extensive, which is the last thing that she or her family should have to worry about, especially with all of the chemotherapy and radiation therapy that lies ahead. And we want to make sure that Peggy gets the best treatment possible to fight this!
