My dear friend Paula Cheney has been diagnosed with breast cancer. While her prognosis is good, her fight is just beginning. This month she’ll begin chemotherapy infusions, which will later be followed by radiation. As expected, she’ll need to take time off from work for these treatments. She recently started a new job and thankfully they have been very generous with allowing her the time off that she needs. However, being a new employee, her paid time off benefits have not yet kicked in. She also needs a wig, which her insurance doesn’t cover. If you can believe it, the cost of her wig is $1,500! As a breast cancer survivor, I know how much stress comes with this diagnosis and I’m hoping you can join me in helping to take some of that burden off of her hands.
Those of us who know Paula love her for her kindness, uplifting spirit and positive attitude. Let’s support her in keeping those spirits up with contributions to ease some of the impending financial burden that comes with fighting cancer.
Paula is an amazing woman who is always there for her friends and family and this is a great opportunity to give back to a person who gives so much of herself to others.
Thank you so much for your help!
