Let’s help Paige and her nieces and nephew

For those who aren’t aware, we have a wonderful friend who has gone through the most traumatic few months that we can imagine. Paige Millbocker was first an acquaintance who we met through Nick’s brother, who then became an employee at the firm and eventually became like family.

We knew Paige’s mother was ill and her passing wasn’t a complete surprise, although losing your mom is never easy. Little did we know that her life would be turned completely upside down just a few weeks later—not once, but twice. Not long after her mother’s passing, her sister Kristin went to the hospital for what they believed to be pancreatitis. Kristin soon started to get worse, and a month after the passing of their mother Paige also lost her sister. Not only that, but Kristin had 3 beautiful children that just lost their grandmother and unexpectedly now their mother. Paige, a single young woman, now has guardianship of her nieces and nephew. But just as things felt like they were finally settling, a few weeks later Paige lost her brother Jon in a deadly car accident.

Our hearts are absolutely broken for our friend. We have committed to supporting her in any way we can, but these tragedies have become a massive financial burden. Nick and I will get her the immediate necessities as well as take care of any costs associated with grieving councilors, and are starting the GoFundMe and a separate $5,000 donation. But we have had so many reach out on how they can help, and we’re hoping to raise enough funds to help Paige and the kids settled for their new normal.
