Let’s Help Out Jan & Wayne

We’re here to ask everybody today for a little bit of help. Some help for a couple who hasn’t asked for any help thus far from anybody, but who could certainly use some. Jan and Wayne’s story started 10 years ago. Being over the road truck drivers, it was often difficult to be able to spend time with each other. When Wayne was diagnosed with cancer over 2 years ago, it became even more difficult as Wayne was forced to leave the job he loved to seek treatment, and Jan was forced to continue driving, doing 3 loads a week to pay the bills, meaning she was only able to stay home Sundays to be with Wayne.

While Jan has needing to continue working, Wayne has attempted to stay busy where he can and still help out the family. Even for us he watched our house and the animals when we went on vacation, and during the process cleaned up our whole back corner of our yard, which was a disaster and completely overgrown. He’s helped Ryan and Sam build their new porch. He helped Will and Ashley build the new roof on their chicken coop. For Mike, he helped get him his job being a trucker and mentored him.

Jan has started needing to be home more to be with Wayne which unfortunately means she has had to do some fewer loads. Due to this, things have gotten a little tight for them lately, so we are asking that if anybody can help, please give what you can. We understand times are tough for a lot of people right now, but anything you could give would certainly help ease some stress for these two great people and make it a little easier for them to just spend time with each other.
