Hello! Thank you for coming here to support our good friend Wookie!

Our friend Joe “Wookie” Wojkiewitz is going through a rough stretch in his life right now. He needs a little help to get back on his feet. Joe lost his job due to COVID and has been unable to obtain employment in the post-COVID job market. While searching for a position, he applied for unemployment but has not received the benefits he’s owed. He reached out to the VA but hasn’t received any support, not even medical support or mental health services. After five months without, he wanted to give up, but we’re not going to let that happen.

Wookie has friends all over, and he needs our help now. If you know Wookie, you know he is a gentle giant, a big ‘ol teddy bear, and the sweetest guy in the world. Wookie wouldn’t hesitate to be there for anyone who needs him. But, he seems to think that he doesn’t deserve the same support in return.

He needs to know that he deserves all the love he puts out into the world and more.

He needs to know that everybody gets down on their luck, and he has us to help pick him back up.

He needs to feel the support of his military brothers and sisters!

This request is to help Wookie purchase food, get ahead on his car and insurance payments, and cover bills to get him squared away, on his feet, and back to self-sufficiency.
