Hello family and friends, Our friend and favorite bartender @Lips restaurant and @Redwing Bar & Grill Pablo Pena is in the hospital with health issues. It started about a week and half ago when he was experiencing discomfort and tingling in his ear which he swept under the rug because of lack of medical insurance he thought it might only be a mild ear infection. Unfortunately the pain was too much to bear so he drove himself across the border and admitted himself to the nearest Tijuana hospital to be checked out. Thankfully he did because he was diagnosed with a mild stroke and needed a blood transfusion. At this point when we checked up on him he was feeling better and was on medication and he had to stay another day for evaluation until the doctor released him only to be readmitted the following morning due to pain he was feeling and could not bear. His friend Julie ( thanks Julie❤️) drove him back to the hospital which he later found out that he has an abscess in his rectal artery caused by the medication he was taking and needed to undergo emergency surgery before it became more serious. We are thankful he made it through his surgery and resting in intensive care. Although We are hopeful that he'll get better sooner than later without any more complication he is saddened because as we’re sure we can all relate from missing work and having to deal with lost wages and medical expenses not to mention rent , etc. This is the reason we started a GoFundMe for him, your prayers and any monetary donations will be gratefully appreciated to help him during these difficult times.
