We are a group of international friends writing on behalf of our dear friend Inieti, a talented and hardworking Nigerian artist and student currently living and studying in France.
She came here for art and education, funding her studies herself through her work as an actress, her Nigerian cooking business, and her job as a nanny — a role she does with a lot of heart.
Now, she’s about to take an important step forward: she’s been accepted into a school where she can continue to explore art from a pedagogical perspective, combining her artistic talent with her love for working with children.
But there’s a financial hurdle in her way: she needs €1,800 to pay for her stay. As international students, we know that the bureaucracy and the paperwork don’t come without financial investments. Despite all the efforts from her family and herself, this amount is still out of reach without a little help, thus why we want to help Inieti reach her goal before the beginning of September.
We are launching this fundraiser because we truly believe in her, her generosity, and the value of her future. She gives so much through her work, her art, and to the people around her — now it’s our turn to lend a hand.
