Hi, my name is Sonnie and i have created this gofund me for my beautiful friend Kim. She now has received devastating news that the cancer is now terminal. Further treatment will buy her some more time and make her comfortable.

Hi my name is kim. My amazing friend sonnie has helped me set this go fund me up to help take some pressure and stress off of my partner and I as I prepare to fight for my life again and undergo chemotherapy for the 2nd time and i foresee substantial difficulties ahead. My partner, Mark, has recently started a new casual position, and I worry that he will need to take unpaid leave to care for our children and I. During my previous surgeries, hospitalization and chemotherapy treatment, Mark took unpaid leave to care for our kids and i. Upon his return to work, I faced significant challenges managing household responsibilities and taking care of our youngest child which was 2 at the time while i struggled with the effects of treatment. Unfortunately, we do not have family or a support system to assist with childcare, and if Mark needs to take leave to care for me, he will not receive payment.

I have no life insurance also so anything we raise will be going towards my funeral and helping mark with our kids. He will be having to stop work to be a full time dad.

I am still struggling to accept that my life is going to be cut short and thinking I can beat this. I am so sad for my babies having to grow up without their mum.

This is my third cancer diagnosis, and each experience has been more challenging than the last. I am stressed about the financial implications of my treatment and the potential impact on our ability to meet our living expenses. Im not usually the type of person to ask for help so this also is extremely difficult for me.

I completely understand that there are others out there that may be struggling and have it far more worse than our situation but this time around I would love nothing more than to be able to have mark home with us to help wherever needed and not have the financial stresses that make our life that much harder than it needs to be and I don't want the kids picking up on the negative energy and struggle with their schooling.

I really need a miracle right now!!
