Let's help our girl Choni with her brave cancer battle!
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Jess and Nat here, two of Choni's close friends.
Life can throw some massive curveballs at you when you least expect it! :-(
Two weeks ago, Choni was given devastating news. She has been told she has Stage 4 Liver Cancer after having numerous tests done regarding pain she was feeling. After her biopsy was complete in hospital, the doctors told Choni that the cancer is extremely aggressive. The type of cancer Choni has been diagnosed with normally presents in the elderly, not in someone in their 40's. Being that she has age on her side, the doctors have said they are throwing everything at it. This will involve 8 rounds of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy spread over 12 weeks. She is in for one hell of a fight, but is determined to give it her all, and in her own words "I"M READY TO KICK THIS THING IN THE BUTT STARTING TODAY - FUCK CANCER!" (A text sent by Choni on the day she started Chemo).
We are putting together this fundraiser as a way to support Choni, Roger and their families during this incredibly hard journey that they are faced with. We all know and love these guys like our own family, and want to support them in any way we can. Lots of people have asked, what can we do to help? Financially, there is a burden, Choni is no longer able to work and Roger is self-employed. While Roge is trying to work here and there when he can, the pressure will mount and it's most important that he spends his crucial time with his girl. Choni's sister Renee and Roge are her main support crew at the hospital and are there day in and day out so that she is never alone. The days and nights will be spent by her side and they are doing an incredible job keeping our girl calm and supported.

And, a massive thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
