Our good friend, Glen Hugghins' health has been declining over the last several months and on May 4th
he was hospitalized with severe heart failure. He was released after 5 days and then readmitted 5 days
later with what they thought was a stroke. Thankfully, he did not have a stroke, but they determined that
his heart was going into v-tach and causing the symptoms of a stroke. He now has to wear a life vest
(wearable defibrillator) for at least 90 days. He has been told that he can not work for at least 3 months,
with the possibility of never returning to work. Glen's company does not offer short or long-term
disability, and medical bills have drained their savings. They are in the process of selling their house to
help reduce monthly bills. Still, they need help with living and astronomical hospital & medical expenses
until this happens or a different solution is found. Angel is working full time and taking care of Glen, while
trying to keep things afloat as best she can.
People have asked how they can help, and this would be a perfect way.
