The Friends of Cuddy Kane are asking for your help. We need to re launch our site in order to energize our efforts on Cuddy's behalf. We also wanted to update everyone on Cuddy's condition. Cuddy is currently living in a group home in Northwest Baltimore. Covid was especially tough on Cuddy as it kept him isolated, unable to attend church and visit with friends. The home provides for his basic needs, food and shelter. His daily medication is also monitored. He continues to struggle with health issues and needs our help more then ever. The " Cuddy Fund " allows Cuddy a small monthly supplement beyond his subsistence payments from SSA. Those SSA payments do not completely cover he's living and medication expenses. We started this fund in 2016 and and it has provided a life line for Cuddy. The amazing outpouring of love and support from his Baltimore and St Mary's friends has truly helped Cuddy live a better life. He is also keenly aware and deeply appreciative of everyone's generosity. We still see that great Cuddy smile and warmth as he faces difficult days. If you would like to contact Cuddy his em address is [email redacted]. If you would like his cell please reach out. Cuddy asked us to post this note that expresses his gratitude. Thank you again and again for your support. It truly means everything.
Dear friends and family
I was homeless...you housed me.
I was in rags...you clothed me.
I was hungry...you fed me.
I was in the hospital...you healed me.
I was without my smile...you gave it back to me.
I needed medication, transportation, communication...you supply it.
Blessed be you ALL.
But most of all I'd like to thank you for all the invisible things :
Love, compassion, kindness, sacrifice, generosity, friendship...too many to list here.
All from your hearts, which is what I think of you today.
Thank you for helping to make my LIFE possible.
May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life.
Peace,
Cuddy
