Let’s Help Norma Portillo Fight for Her Life

Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe with love and urgency for my dear friend Norma Portillo, who is currently facing a life-threatening health crisis.

Norma has been hospitalized since Tuesday after arriving at the ER with a high fever and severe headaches. Doctors attempted a surgical procedure to extract bone marrow fluid for testing but were unable to retrieve it. This procedure is essential to rule out a serious infection in her catheter or even in her brain.

Doctors have warned that if this infection is confirmed, her life could be at risk within weeks or just a couple of months. Norma is also diabetic and a dialysis patient, which puts her in an even more vulnerable condition.

She hasn’t been able to work for over a month and now needs all the help she can get to keep fighting. This campaign was created at Norma’s own request, as she knows financial, emotional, and spiritual support is essential right now.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help cover medical bills, treatments, and basic needs. We also ask for your prayers and for you to share this campaign with others who might be able to help.

Ayudemos a Norma Portillo en su lucha por la vida / Let’s Help Norma Portillo Fight for Her Life

Hola a todos,
Estoy creando esta campaña con mucho amor y esperanza para mi querida amiga Norma Portillo, quien está atravesando una situación crítica de salud.

Desde el martes, Norma está hospitalizada tras llegar a la emergencia con fiebre alta y un dolor de cabeza intenso. Le realizaron una intervención quirúrgica para intentar obtener líquido de su médula ósea, pero no pudieron extraerlo. Este examen es clave para descartar una posible infección grave en su catéter o incluso en su cerebro.

Los médicos han advertido que, si se confirma esta infección, su vida corre un alto riesgo, con un pronóstico de solo semanas o un par de meses. Norma también es diabética y paciente de diálisis, lo cual complica aún más su estado.

Lleva más de un mes sin poder trabajar y ahora necesita toda la ayuda posible para continuar luchando. Esta campaña fue creada a petición de Norma, quien sabe que necesita apoyo económico, emocional y espiritual en este momento tan difícil.
