Let’s help Niño find some comfort

Niño might be all bark, but don’t be fooled, this grumpy old soul is still the baby of the family. At 8 years old, he still holds that special place in everyone’s heart.

About a year ago in Colombia, blood was drawn during a routine check up. After returning to NYC, Niño began to limp, and a mass started to form behind his front leg.

The swelling has been drained and treated with medication several times, but it continues to return. The veterinarian now recommends surgically removing the mass before it affects Niño’s leg further and to help relieve his ongoing pain and discomfort.

Unfortunately, the surgery isn’t covered by pet insurance, and there’s an upfront cost of $2,500 that must be paid before Niño can receive treatment.
