Help my godfather Armando to fight against COVID!
This is my godfather Armando Sanoja; He is 71 years old and lives in Venezuela.
He was diagnosed with COVID on 03/19/2021, this virus took over a large part of his lungs so we had to hospitalize him at La Trinidad Medical Center in Caracas to help him with his saturation and breathing problems.
Although initially his condition was stable and he was responding to treatment; On 03/30/21 he was transferred to the ICU intensive care unit due to severe hypoonexia with hemodynamic instability and tachycardia. After being admitted to the ICU, he suffered from cardiorespiratory attack.
His health was complicated by a pulmonary thromboembolism, one of his lungs collapsed, requiring a tube to be placed in his chest to drain it, and he needed to be intubated and placed on mechanical ventilation to be able to achieve acceptable oxygen saturation rates.
To this day my godfather Armando is struggling in the intensive care unit, still connected to mechanical ventilation and with kidneys complications.
His son, daughter-in-law and all his family members are doing everything in our power to help him come back home safe. However, the economic debt that we have acquired in the institution is quite high and continues to grow as the days go by.
It is for this reason that we have seen the need to open this GoFundme since the situation is becoming harsh and unsustainable for everyone.
My godfather is a fundamental pillar in our family. Please help us bring it back home.

¡Ayuda a mi padrino Armando a luchar contra el Covid!
Este es mi padrino Armando Sanoja ; tiene 71 años y vive en Venezuela.
Fue diagnosticado con COVID el 19/03/2021, este virus se adueño de una gran parte de sus pulmones por lo que tuvimos que hospitalizarlo en el Centro Medico La Trinidad en Caracas para ayudarlo con su saturacion y respiracion.
A pesar de que inicialmente su condición era estable y se encontraba respondiendo al tratamiento; el 30/03/21 es trasladado a la unidad de cuidados intensivas UCI a causa de hiponexia severa con inestabilidad hemodinamica y taquicardia. Posterioremente a su ingreso en UCI sufre de un paro cardiorespiratorio.
Su estado de salud se complicó con un tromboembolismo pulmonar, uno de sus pulmones colapso ameritando que se le colocara un tubo en el tórax para drenarlo y necesitó ser intubado y conectado a ventilación mecánica para poder alcanzar índices de saturación de oxígeno aceptables.
Al día de hoy mi padrino Armando se encuentra luchando en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, aun conectado a respiracion mecanica y con complicaciones en sus rinones.
Su hijo, nuera y todos sus familiares estamos haciendo todo lo que está en nuestras manos para sacarlo adelante. Sin embargo, la deuda económica que hemos adquirido en la institución es bastante alta y continúa creciendo con el paso de los días.
Es por este motivo que nos hemos visto en la necesidad de abrir este GoFundme ya que la situación se está haciendo dura e insostenible para todos.
Mi padrino es un pilar fundamental en nuestra familia. Por favor ayúdanos a traerlo de vuelta a casa.
