My name is Adriana Ocañas and I am friends with Pilar Rodriguez. Two weeks ago, Pilar was diagnosed with lung cancer. The feelings of sadness in her 3 grandchildren are obvious. I see the extreme sadness and worry for her. The youngest of the 3 children is only 8 years old but wants to know the truth. He wants time with his grandmother so she can teach him how to make cochinita pivil. As much pain and worry for Pilar, there is one more concern. The financial situation is very stressful.
