Conductor Monica Rengifo, our cherished friend and coworker, is facing a challenging period in her life. In 2021 she underwent a hip replacement, battling through a 5-month out-of-work recovery with unwavering determination. In June 2022, life threw her another curveball when she was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma, leading to a mastectomy and missing 4 months of work. As if her strength wasn't already inspiring enough, in June 2023 she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, leading to yet another mastectomy, she is currently out of work and recovering.

Through all the trials and tribulations, Monica's resilience remains unshaken. Amidst the medical treatments, surgeries, and emotional turmoil. Monica's family has been by her side, providing the love and care she needs during this difficult time.
