Please help us support our Painters’ team member Moises as he navigates treatment for stomach cancer.

Moises has been an integral member of our Painters’ family for close to 5 years, keeping our facility running smoothly—from managing construction projects and the many daily maintenance issues of a very complicated facility, to managing our team of dedicated growers. He leads by example and is always willing to help wherever/however needed, not only here but in his community.

We were all deeply upset by Moises’ diagnosis this spring. Due to the seriousness of his cancer, in addition to the chemotherapy treatment he is currently undergoing, he will likely need additional treatments and surgery as well. For anyone who has had cancer touch their lives, you know that in addition to the physical and emotional toll, it brings tough financial challenges—non-covered medical expenses, transportation costs, etc., only made more difficult if you are unable to continue your regular work schedule. Unfortunately, Moises is not currently able to work as he undergoes treatments and navigates challenging symptoms.

After all that Moises has done for our family, Painters Team, and workplace, we want to offer as much support as we can to help him access the best possible medical care, and to alleviate some of the financial stress associated with his journey. We appreciate all contributions—no donation is too small and every little bit helps!
