Dear BCMS Community,

I have very sad news to report. While at work today, our beloved assistant Miss Maria E. (Miss Soumya’s Class) received notice that her brother unexpectedly passed away and her mother was hospitalized due to the trauma of receiving such horrible news. They both reside in Maria's home country of El Salvador. She has requested an emergency leave of absence and some financial support to tend to this family emergency.

I am asking you today to help us support Maria so she can afford to travel to El Salvador for her brother’s funeral and be with her mother. We are hoping to raise $4,000 to help pay for all the unexpected expenses her family will endure that they cannot afford.
