Let's help Migue support her family
Donation protected
Hello all,
For the last year and half we were fortunate to meet and share with Migueline Estrada or as we affectionally called her, "Migue". Migueline and her husband Francisco who past away from COVID last week in Nicaragua were celebrated Karate instructors in their country. During their 22 years of marriage they raised 4 outstanding kids, Gladis (11), Saharet (12), Hamet (14) and Bayardo (19) who are exemplary students and athletes with Bayardo currently being Nicaragua's Karate National Champion in his division.
Leaving her family behind in Nicaragua, Migueline was in the U.S. applying for a resident visa as an individual with special talents. Unfortunately, as many of you know, the past two years have been incredibly difficult for many, especially those in less affluent countries. Sadly this was the case for Migue’s husband who inevitably succumbed to COVID as the lack of medical and economic resources did not allow him the opportunity to get vaccinated or receive the proper medical attention to fight this terrible disease.
Many of those who got the opportunity to meet Migue, know her as a hard working mother and wife who would do anything to help her family succeed. Migueline and her husband's dream was to move to the U.S., establish a Karate Academy and support their kids dreams of attending American universities such as Bayardo who wants to go to medical school.
With her husband gone, the Karate academy in Nicaragua closed and unable to operate due to COVID restrictions, Migueline is in dire need to provide for her 4 kids. We are setting up this fund to help her family while they get on their feet, after the devastating loss of their father and husband. We greatly appreciate any donation that you may want to make - any amount is cherished. It will go a long way in Nicaragua and will mean the world for the future of Migue's family. Thank you.
