Let’s help Michelle Overcome Breast Cancer

My dear friend Michelle has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and needs our help.

Michelle is currently preparing for a double mastectomy – booked in for the second week of June. It is currently unknown whether chemotherapy or radiation will be required after the mastectomy; this will be known after her surgery.

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover all the expense which means Michelle could be out of pocket $30k - or even more!

Michelle (47) is a wonderful single Mother to Ollie (12), daughter to Cheryl (in NZ) and sister to Kirsten (in Sydney). She is also an amazing friend to so, so many; I have known Michelle for over 14 years now, and she is like “family” to me.

Michelle is a one-in-a-million friend with a massive heart who would be the first person to arrange support for any friend in need. She has spent her entire career helping others – working as a nurse since 1998, and an IVF Nurse since 2009. She now needs our support!

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference to Michelle’s journey and to her recovery.

Although Michelle has not asked for any financial support, I know it would mean the world to her to have her financial burden reduced so she can get back on her feet faster and continue being the amazing Mother and Nurse she has always been.
