Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support for my brother, Michael Pepping, who has been courageously battling AML (acute myeloid leukemia) for the past two years. He also has a blood disorder called ITP which causes his body to destroy his platelets. Due to this, he has to receive regular platelet infusions several times a week. As you can imagine, one blood disorder and blood cancer are not a good combination. In December 2023, he underwent a stem cell transplant, and for several months, we had hope that he was on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, in the fall of 2024, he became ill again and spent a lot of time in the hospital and recuperating at home. It was later determined that his cancer has returned as CMML (Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia). He was scheduled for another stem cell transplant in early February 2025, but devastatingly, his donor did not pass pre-screening, and the procedure was canceled. Now, we are anxiously waiting as doctors search for a new donor, but time is critical.

Mike is self-employed, and has exhausted his savings just trying to survive these past two years. The physical toll of his combined health issues make it impossible for him to work and run his business. The longer he is sick, the longer he is unable to work, and the financial strain is becoming unbearable. Medical bills, daily living expenses, and the cost of ongoing care are piling up.

Mike has a deep faith in God and is always helping everyone else. Now it's our turn.
