Let’s help Matt Gray !

Hi, my name is Jamie, I am fundraising on behalf of the Gray family for a positive, exuberant, caring, genuine person, Matt Gray, as he faces the biggest battle of his life.

Matt is determined and has a fierce “never give up attitude”. Matt is a father of two wonderful children and two beautiful granddaughters. Matt exudes a contagious and bubbly personality. Matt is an extraordinarily kind individual and is loyally dedicated to helping others in achieving their success and goals, before his own. Matt lives and breathes his kids, granddaughters, and friends. Matt has lived in Ventura his entire life and has established many relationships which he continues to foster and cherish.

In September of 2022, Matt was seen for what he thought was a mild issue. The conversations and concerns surrounding this issue from a casual well-check became conversations of a tumors, surgery and chemotherapy. The days since have been a whirlwind of appointments, tests, scans, planning, prayers, and uncertainty.

We’ve learned that this cancer is requires an aggressive treatment plan that starts immediately. We are certain that Matt’s 'never give up' attitude will carry him through this fight, along with the support from his family, and friends, both near and far.

Our main focus is to get Matt the best treatment available. The out-of-pocket expense just to get treatment started has already been extremely expensive. In addition to that, deductibles, co-pays, tests and scans, medications, travel expenses and so much more. The road ahead will mean time away from his employment and income as he seeks the best possible care.

Insurance coverage only goes so far, and the bills are already adding up.
