Hi, my name is Nancy, and I am fundraising for my little sister, Maryse.

On January 1st, Maryse and her partner proudly launched their new business — something they had worked so hard for and were so excited about. As a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist, Maryse truly loves what she does. She spends her days helping others heal, manage pain, and feel their best.

But on Saturday, February 28, everything changed.

While rock climbing, Maryse had a serious accident and broke her ankle. The following day, March 1st, she underwent surgery.

Her recovery is expected to take approximately three months, and during that time she will be unable to work.

As an RMT, her job is completely hands-on. If she can’t stand and move comfortably, she can’t treat clients — which means no income. With their business just getting started, this unexpected setback has created significant financial pressure.

For the next few months, they will be relying on one income while still managing:

• Mortgage payments

• Business expenses

• Everyday living costs

• Medical and recovery expenses

I am starting this fundraiser to help ease that stress so Maryse can focus fully on healing — without the added worry of how they will cover their bills.
