Mark Gabower has endured so much over the years that its our turn to help Mark and Patty get through some rough times. First of all, he's a farmer by trade and we all know the struggles the farm community is going through. Diabetes has been a menace to Mark for the last 40 years. He endured a kidney transplant (from his sister Robin) 11 years ago. Many trials and tribulations led to a leg amputation last year. Then his good leg was amputated last week along with some of his fingers. Because of the double amputation his house is in need of major modifications. Its an expense that no one should have to face. Just this year alone, he has made over 70 clinic visits...each one with a $40 co-pay. Mark also dealt with Covid even after being fully vaccinated...one of the very few unlucky people.

Mark has looked death in the face more times than we can count, and his faith and friends have given him extra years to live. Its time for us to give back! As Mark said this morning, "I have no legs to stand on and I'm changing my name to Bob"!
