Many of you know my lovely neighbour Jean.

Last Friday, she sadly suffered a stroke, and everything has changed very quickly

While she’s currently in hospital, I want to do something to help prepare for when she comes home, so she can be as safe and comfortable as possible in her own space.

I’m hoping to raise enough to purchase a rise and recliner chair, one of those chairs that gently lifts you to your feet. This would make such a difference to her day-to-day life and help her keep some independence.

I’ll be organising everything myself and making sure the chair is bought and ready for her return home

I’ve also added some of Jean’s beautiful knitting to my Vinted (mrsbee_xx) to help raise funds, something she’s always loved doing, which makes this feel even more special.
