Please help support Lyne in her Fight with Lung Cancer!

Hi my name is Jeanne and my long time colleague and good friend Lyne Favreau has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung CANCER. Lyne and I have been working together in the dental industry for 25+ years which unfortunately has no private medical benefits.

Lyne is currently under cancer treatment and cannot work due to a compromised immune system and is stuck with undergoing treatment. She has exhausted all avenues regarding financial assistance since her EI sick benefits was only 3 months and now is on CPP disability and is not even enough to make ends meet (ei, Mortgage, car payment, utilities, hospital parking, medication, university costs and more…)

It’s absolutely unfair that Lyne and her partner Jean have to go through this financial distress while going through cancer treatments. It’s a challenge to pay for day-to-day bills and care for her 17-year-old daughter Amelie, and also while paying child support and university fees for his children. It has been very difficult for Lyne and her family, with Covid lockdowns it brought immense isolation and lack of medical attention and support during her fight against CANCER.
