Hi everyone! My name is Johana, and this is Lola.

Lola was a dog that we found trying to survive in a lake behind our office, apparently, she was thrown to die, because she was very sick. She was full of wounds, scars, and swollen all over her little body. Lola is an old dog, maybe 9 years old, she has health problems with blood infections and skin infections. Lola has stayed with me for 3 months and I LOVE her with my heart, unfortunately in Miami, these breeds are prohibited and Lola has some behavioral problems that have put me in trouble on more than three occasions. I live in a small place and in the city, we have not found a place where she can stay and be SAFE, which is what matters the most to us. I am from Colombia, and my great friend has a HUGE house in the mountains on the outside of the city, where she takes care of many dogs that live HAPPILY! They also work on their behavior and give them a lot of LOVE! So my friend who is with me is willing to take her, but sending Lola there costs money: airline transportation, legal documents, vet appointments, crates, medicine. And once Lola is in Colombia, we have to do surgery on her ear that has an otohematoma, but first, we have to pay for her spaying so she doesn't get infected because she has not been spayed because she was a dog that unfortunately was kept giving birth most of her life to sell her puppies... also, we have to continue with her blood and skin treatment.

Lola will have a BEAUTIFUL life, my friend from the office, my best friend in Colombia, and I personally, will continue to take care of Lola paying for her food, treatment, and basic needs. My best friend who is there will be in charge of visiting her several times a week, taking her for walks, taking her to relax and my office friend and I who are in the USA will go every time we can to do the same.
