Our dear, sweet friend Lisa Przybyla, an MGIC employee for 29 years, is on leave and focusing full-time on her health and her wonderful family. Lisa has done so much for ALK Lung Cancer and this Go Fund Me is now our opportunity to support Lisa and her family with their medical expenses.
Lisa is an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Lisa’s faith gives her strength to face each day, each test and the constant pain from her lung surgery in 2017. She is still counting her blessings and approaches this challenge with grace and dignity. Lisa is determined to be the first with ALK Lung Cancer to go into remission.
Most importantly, we are looking for prayers for Lisa and her family.
Last year, at the age of 52, Lisa and her husband - along with their two sons - moved to a smaller house to help address the monetary challenges around her Stage IV lung cancer. This has come with some challenges but, has helped a lot financially. Lisa and her family will have to switch Health insurance companies in the coming months and will face new monetary challenges as the coverage will not be as good and deductibles will be much higher.
Please contribute to this fund, knowing that all proceeds will go directly to the Przybyla family for:
- Lisa’s trips to Boston to see a doctor doing ALK research
- Lisa's medical bills

- Attending the Oxygen Ball and being honored as a Lungforce Hero.
-Filming segment on CBS about ALK Lung Cancer and the 2017 LungForce Walk

- Working with the American Lung Association next year in DC to share her story with state representatives and advocate for more lung cancer research funds.
-Volunteering with the American Lung Association on the Lungforce Taskforce (distributing event and informational flyers, cookie delivery to Police and Fire Fighters, helping with events such as the Fight for Air Climb, and Lungforce Walk, working tabling events at venues to share information on Lung diseases and the Lung Associations mission)
