Let's Help Letz

On August 30, my brother-in-law, John Letsinger, suffered a sudden, and serious episode of Rhabdomyolysis, which is a breakdown of muscle tissue and a release of damaging protein into the blood. John has little feeling in his lower half, his kidneys are at serious risk, and he is looking at a significant rehabilitation process and timeline.

He was released from the ICU on September 2, and will be potentially entering a rehab facility to build strength, balance, and relearn how to put his pants on and walk.

At this point, Letz will miss a considerable amount of work (he and my sister are both Special Education Teachers, and John is on the Crisis Team) and generate a mass of medical bills. We are asking for your help, whatever you might be able to donate, to help Letz, my sister Katie, and my nephew Van, navigate this sudden and scary event.
