Let’s Help Layal With Her Legal Fees!

Hi! Jessica here hoping to help make an American dream come true for our beloved Layal.

As you may know Layal’s story of escaping war torn Yemen to get to the US is one of courage and tenacity. But obviously arriving to the US as an asylum seeker from Yemen is not the end of a journey but the beginning of another long arduous, painful, and wildly expensive process within the US legal system.

Over the last ten years Layal’s determination and devotion to providing for her family has fueled her fight to overcome obstacles that were emotionally and physically excruciating, and financially draining. Layal’s will would keep her going until she found a way.

What Layal also found was love! This year she married her long time love Eric Ulrich, which not only brought on wedded bliss, but also allowed her to finally get her green card approved.

But ten years of being financially responsible for her mother in Egypt, her sister in Turkey, as they are refugees, and her brother in Yemen, as well as having to cover the medical expenses brought on by an unforeseen medical diagnosis for Eric that required a very expensive treatment has taken its toll.

Now this financial burden has become a crushing weight as Layal has just received the bills from the attorneys that were supposedly helping get her asylum granted.

My hope is that we can come together and create a money miracle for Layal to pay off all her attorney debt and go on honeymoon in Egypt to be reunited with her family. Let’s give Layal and her family a reason to celebrate!
