Some of you know of the tornado that hit Woodridge, IL late Sunday night, June 21st. It caused a significant damage across southwest suburbs of Chicago. It unfortunately didn't spare a home of our team member and friend, Laura Skubich.
After months of searching for the perfect home, Laura and Lucy (her fur baby) had finally found it.
Just 8 months after moving in they finds themselves without a home that can be lived in. Laura and Lucy survived the horrific tornado that tore through her neighborhood in her bathtub, only to find that her perfect home is now unlivable.
It has been estimated that over 50% of her house has been damaged or destroyed.
Once gorgeous yard is now barren of all of her trees, shed, and outdoor furniture.
No power, internet or even kitchen.
We are coming together to help lessen Laura’s financial burden of this
catastrophe.
Insurance will cover a portion of repair costs, but won't cover everything.
There is no final cost of the damage repairs yet.
There is a lot of work to of work to do for the next few months and if we can help her financially get through this, let's do so.
