Hihi, so I know this is a terrible time of the year for everyone. It's winter, bills are high, it's barely past Christmas, and it's not yet tax return season. I get that money is tight, but I really, really, really need help with these cats right now.

Kukla (our 18-year-old rescue) just ran up $600 worth of bills unexpectedly, and now Kit Kong (he's sitting on the straw bale in the picture) has the sneezes and his breathing doesn't sound very good. So, he's going to have to go to the vet, sooner rather than later, hopefully tomorrow.

I may have to take some time off work to capture him as he's still not 100% convinced that pets and human touches are a good thing. But despite that, he still needs medical attention. He lives outside, and although it's warmer this week, it's still not spring.

Anything anyone can do would be great, even if it's just five bucks or so at a time. I just need to be able to pay all my bills and pay all the vet bills as well.

Please help me help Kit Kong. He really is a sweet baby, and I hate asking, but I just can't do it by myself right now.

PS It's hard to see in this photo, but he really does have a hilariously giant head, and when he's not quite so scraggly looking, he's a very handsome man.
